1) General
By ordering Tietokettu’s services, you agree to these Terms of Service as well as the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.
The service must fully comply with the laws of Finland. If you do not accept these terms, you may not order or use our services.
Domain Names
When ordering a domain name, the customer must ensure that the chosen domain name does not infringe upon another party’s name or trademark.The customer must also ensure that they have full rights to use the domain name they purchase. 2) Service Cancellation
If you decide to cancel your service subscription, the service will remain active until the next due date, and no refunds will be issued for that service regardless of the reason. This also applies to situations where the customer has automatic payments enabled. Tietokettu will charge the customer when an invoice is created, if automatic payment is active. Tietokettu also reserves the right to cancel or terminate the service at its sole discretion if deemed necessary.
3) Service Issues
If the service does not function as expected, you must contact Tietokettu’s customer support.
Tietokettu is responsible only for keeping the server operational and is not responsible for maintaining the customer’s own systems.
4) Data backups
Tietokettu provides a backup service for certain products, designed to promote regular data backups.
However, this does not mean that Tietokettu is responsible for the backup process itself. The responsibility for creating and maintaining backups lies entirely with the customer. The customer is responsible for their own data that is not included in the purchased product by default. The customer is fully responsible for their own data.
5) Technical issues
Tietokettu is not responsible for problems or exceptional situations caused by technical malfunctions or human errors, such as possible business interruptions, data breaches, or data loss. If a customer stores data of monetary or otherwise valuable nature within our services and wishes Tietokettu to bear financial responsibility for the security of that data, a separate agreement regarding its storage must be made with Tietokettu, which will be priced separately.
Tietokettu provides technical support and undertakes to correct technical faults within 30 days at the latest, provided that they concern Tietokettu’s payment systems or control panels. If this period is exceeded, the customer is not obligated to pay for any costs arising from the products during that time.
6) Changes to ToS (Terms of service)
Tietokettu reserves the full right to modify these Terms of Service and to make changes to the Privacy Policy without prior notice.
Any changes will also apply to customers who have previously accepted the agreement.
If the customer does not accept the updated terms, they must immediately stop using the product.
